About Treepisode
Treepisode is a personal growth and family legacy app built with one belief: your screen time should grow something meaningful.
We are a small, independent team committed to building a calm, kind alternative to social media. Every decision we make — from the forest metaphor to the kindness-only circles — is designed to make your phone a place of peace, not anxiety.
Treepisode is built and maintained by uidiq, an independent software studio focused on meaningful digital experiences.
Declarations
Data Protection
Treepisode processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We collect only the data necessary to provide the service. Users have the right to access, correct, export, and delete their data at any time. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.
Content Ownership
All content created by users — including trees, echoes, voice recordings, images, and text — remains the intellectual property of the user. Treepisode does not claim ownership over user content. We only use content to provide the service (displaying to the user and authorized circle members).
No Advertisements
Treepisode does not display advertisements and will never sell user data to advertisers. Our business model is based solely on optional premium subscriptions. Free users are not the product.
Kindness Policy
Treepisode enforces a strict kindness-only policy across all social features. Content that is abusive, hateful, harassing, or violates community standards will be removed. Users who repeatedly violate this policy will have their accounts suspended.
Age Requirement
Treepisode is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will take steps to delete their account and data.
Third-Party Services
Treepisode uses the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (web hosting), Firebase (analytics and push notifications), RevenueCat (mobile subscription management), and Razorpay (web payment processing). Each service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices.
Open Communication
We believe in transparency. If there is a data breach, service outage, or significant policy change, we will notify all affected users via email within 72 hours. We do not hide behind legalese — if you have a question, ask us plainly and we will answer plainly.
